Workshop on "Writing Scientific Papers Using LaTeX"

LaTeX software is a specialized text editing system widely used in writing scientific, technical, mathematical, and computer science documents. In this workshop, we will introduce LaTeX software for mathematical text editing. Additionally, we will introduce some popular mathematical databases worldwide.

• • Date: 9:00 AM to 12AM and 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM, May 11th, 2024
  • Venue: Room F.207, Nguyen Van Cu Campus, University of Sciences, VNU-HCM (227 Nguyen Van Cu Street, Ward 4, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City).

2. Speakers:

• • Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mai Hoang Bien – Head of Algebra Department.
  • Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ly Kim Ha – Head of Analysis Department.

3. The workshop will include the following activities:

• • General introduction.
  • Presentation of some mathematical databases.
  • Overview and format of a scientific paper.
  • Practice reviewing some sample reports and scientific papers in LaTeX.
